My Story
My name is Micah Purvis, and I own Live Oak Cleaning Solutions. I am the father of three beautiful children and have lived in Alpharetta and Cumming communities since 1994. My adult career started with high-end hotels and lasted over ten great years. This is where I discovered my passion for service and providing an exceptional experience for our guests. During this time, I also recognized the importance of an impeccable, clean environment and its impact on our guests. It was indeed a great time in my life.
In 2010, I left the hotel industry to pursue my other desire for entrepreneurship and co-founded a high-end renovation contracting company. We were highly successful and grew it into a multi-million-dollar company. During this time, I noticed that many of our clients had housecleaning services and were not thrilled about the experience for one reason or another. With my business and service experience, I felt I could significantly improve the industry for the community by emphasizing professionalism and service.
In 2023, I parted ways with the high-end renovation industry to start Live Oak from the ground up, with service to my clients and staff as the focus. After a visit to the low country of South Carolina, I was inspired by mature live oak trees, and they reminded me of southern hospitality and longevity. That’s when I said, “That’s It,” and Live Oak Cleaning Solutions was born.
